2. Here's a link to a product i purchased recently. Perfect fit and good quality. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vw-Golf-Mk3-Gti-16V-Braided-Clutch-Hose-Mk2-20vt-1-8t-Turbo-Pipe-02a-Hydraulic-/321512925445?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4adba9e905
3. Hi guys can anyone confirm if a 16v C front subframe will fit a G60 C? They look pretty much identical and part numbers on ETOS show as follows - 53519315C. Thanks Just found my answer - http://shop.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/vwcp/golf-caddy/golf-2/fahrwerk/vorderachse/aggregatetraeger-535199315c.html
4. Hi are these still available, would like one for my g60 m12 ends please.
5. Exactly as above with me, and the password is showed as you type it.
6. Hi guys is there any problem with the login tabs on the site? As i'm finding it hard to login.
7. Shame if you were closer i would of had them.
8. Are these still available? And where are you located?
9. Here's another pic
10. Nice to see another g60 on the road. Looks good mate
11. I think theres a red thing going on !!! Nice wheels all 10 of them
12. One or two pics
13. Fitted the new rear wheels today with new 195/45/16 tyres. No rubbing and looks good, i'l take some pics tomorrow.
14. So i received the above alloys on Monday, unwrapped them and found them to be in poor condition, heavily curbed etc. So i had a refund and sent them back. Today i had a new refurbed pair of 8 x 16 et52 for the rears. So i decided to fit them on the rear hubs to see if they will fit without rubbing, i'm using hub centric adapters 20mm spaced. They are very tight to the axle as you can see in the pic above, but are not rubbing, just wondered what peoples thoughts are on tyre size and adapter size i should be using, unless the 20mm ones i'm using are ok? Currently running 6 x 16 ET52 all round with 195/45/16 tyres.
15. Thanks, yeah its on standard suspension, i find its firm enough without being on the floor. Just ordered a pair of 8 inch D90's for the rear.
16. It does sound slightly louder, a nice hum. Power is more direct and smoother, from what i noticed so far.
17. This is the only one i took, not greatly clear but a pic at least. If your fitting one, ensure you smear a small amount of silicone sealant around the seal edge of the adapter and a small spot of lock tight on the holding stud to the charger.
18. I dont understand why people want to break the g60's, early years people didnt like the g60 because of the 'reliablity and service schedules'. Now people are wrecking some very rare cars. I dont mind really, as mine will be worth a few bob in a couple of years. I dont plan on selling mine, i've owned it 11 years in February!
19. Done a few things over the weekend, all new coolant flanges, 2 new oil pressure sensors, windage tray, oil and filter change including flush. Fitted the RS outlet kit and fitted the standard sump, decided on not fitting the modded sump pan. Engine is running alot smoother and running cooler with the new coolant flanges fitted. As they were ready to leak, the odd wet patch around the flanges. Power is much smoother running the RS adapter.
20. Check this out, the most expensive i have seen yet ! Bloody nice though http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405294584808/sort/default/usedcars/postcode/cf838dp/make/volkswagen/radius/1500/page/2/model/corrado/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/quicksearch/true?logcode=p
21. So heres some bits i have to fit to the car over the weekend. I also bought a new sump which i am modifying, adding some baffles. I made some templates out of cardboard and used photos of the schrick alloy sump. Made the baffles out of steel sheet, approx 1mm thick. A bit of welding tomorrow night and install on the weekend.
22. Just ordered myself an RS outlet kit :) The C will be having a nice Mobile (super 10w 40 semi) oil change over the weekend to.
