  1. 1994/95 corrado VR6 83k miles, paintwork poor, selling as emigrating, engine/box good

VR6 for sale leaving country on Friday, this car has come from Guernsey with me, good runner, has faults, poor paintwork, drivers side indicator lense, gear knob, nearside rear shock making a noise.

If I wasn't leaving I would be keeping it to transplant the engine as it's still pulls very well, there is just under 83 000 miles as the channel Islands are very small.

Cash only as I am emigrating.

  2. Hi all wondering if anyone can shed some light my way

Ive travelled home to the UK and after the 5 hour drive from the ferry i noticed the fans on. I thought probably right as id bet thats the longest its been driven since she comes from Guernsey.

Now every time i start the fans are on and stay on, so any cluesand i might get time tommorrow to get parts before i catch tthe ferry back to guernsey on monday

  3. Ive cleaned the MAF in some carb cleaner, when I disconnect the MAF it almost kills the car so its working, have a new Lambda but bloody bolts on the exhaust are rusted solid, dont know if a Lambda wrench will give me enough leverage to take it out while the exhaust is still in place.

Fairly sure its the lambda thats causing my ruff running, as VAG says no lambda and when I plug the new one in but not in the exhaust to test it tells me that the lamda is out of range which im assuming is because its not in the exhaust stream.

  4. If you look at this thread for changing the heater matrix will give you an idea of what you would need to take out to do this, go to page 5 for the way of swapping a heater matrix without taking out the whole dash, if you dont have any rusted bolts etc its about 3.5 hours to change the heater matrix, so id guess this will take a day ish to do as you would need to locate and fit the air con rad, fit the pump, do your wiring/soldering, as above create the wholes for fitting and putting hoses into the bulkhead.

Post for changing the heater matrix go to page 5 for the way of doing it without taking whole dash out!!

  5. Ive got a obd2 cable arrived today, and its pointing to the lambda sensor, currently says

    1 Fault Found:

    00525 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor (G39)

    03-00 - No Signal

So im going to look see if I can see any broken wires and if not ill order a lambda sensor, ill also give an allen key a try, thanks for your help guys

  7. Hi all, trying to get the ISV out of my VR6 as the car has started to miss fire and idle badly, but on the plastic cover there is a big star bit.

Any one know the size of this and is it a torx bit so I can order one, unfortunately I live in Guernsey so things are limited here so want the size so I can order a bit here.

    Thanks in advance
