RobW 0 Posted October 10, 2004 My rears lock up on very hard braking. I am quite low on Weitec coilovers. I think the bias valve needs adjusting...but which way and how. I have loosened off two 13 mil bolts that face you as you look at it from the passenger side and there is some play in position...do I tilt it forwards or backwards...my hunch is to tilt it forwards i.e turn it anticlock as I look at it from pass side...that right??? I have grooved and drilled discs with uprated pads on all 4 corners, and goodridge hoses.....could I just be overbraked at the back???? Is this common on Corrados. Timo. 0 Posted October 10, 2004 As the suspension compresses the bias valve leaver is pressed up increasing the power sent to the rear wheels. So, you want to loosen the bolts and push the lever down. i.e. closer to the ground. No idea how much to adjust it. Just move it a little and go and try it!! Timo. aide 0 Posted October 11, 2004 haynes reckons you need to use the specific vw tool for adjusting the tension just right, think you need all four wheels sat on deck when your doing it too
