146 Jockey 0 Posted May 28, 2003 What is the advantage of installing one on my G60? Cheers.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted May 28, 2003 The advantage is you can precisely tune the cam timing to your needs. The factory setting is a compromise between drivability and economy. I've seen an Audi 2.0 16V engine give an extra 10lb/ft torque using a vernier pulley with no adverse effects. Kev 94 VR6
146 Jockey 0 Posted May 28, 2003 Excellent, just wanted to see if it was worth investing in. Already have installed a cam from Jeroen Diks and wanted to see what difference it would make. Thanks Kev.
Rams 0 Posted June 2, 2003 Hi mate If you do decide to get a pully, make sure you know exactly what cam you have and what the cam timings are as these will need to be dialed in. Dont make the mistake that I made where they had to take the cam out and call piper etc!! Just a word of advise. Adios amego

Chris VR6nos 0 Posted June 6, 2003 do you know how to set the pulley? or know someone that does? It's easy to do but hard to get right especially if you've never done it before! I watch with interest. Chris
