Arrhhhh cant engage reverse gear !!

After what feels like a decade since I set out on my Diy'athon ive finally fired her back up (incidentley she sounds sweet) and now cant get her oot off the garage as I cant engage reverse :?

 

1st to 5th all seem fine any ideas peeps?

Can you not push it out in neutral?

Put it in reverse buy pusjing/pulling on the levers at the gearbox end of the linkage.

 

But start looking at the circlips on the shifter to see if they're still in place.

lift up the plastic surround which holds the gear lever gator and see if the little clip on the end of the gear lever pivot shaft has come off... that'd stop you getting reverse... :|
