heyzy 0 Posted November 26, 2004 Have owned my VR6 neary seven years and iam on my fourth set of bottom ball joints.I think its because iam running with with 17" Kahn alloys whitch i need to use spacers of about 10mm thick.Has any body else experienced this as it pisses me off as changing them requires a tracking setup. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 26, 2004 Yes a weakness with VR6 BJs has been discovered by Stealth. They appear to be normal when levered upon at the dead ahead, but turn the steering 30 degrees and there is play, but if you're getting through 4 sets every 7 years, then you have other issues that need addressing. Obviously bigger wheels and spacers put more stress on the wheel bearings and BJs. What offset are the Khans? Can't you use them without spacers?
