Y dont I have a hole? (G60)

I have noticed on pretty much all other G60's there is a hole in the rocker cover bellow the cap on the front face if you know what I mean?

 

Why doesnt mine have one? Is there a reason for it?

Below the oil cap? on the head? - yeah, think I know what you mean - I'll have a look at ETKA...

i think its to let water out if your engine gets wet....otherwise it would all fall in when you go to top up

I think you'll find it's an oil overflow! Or something like that was asking about it on mine

correct... later g60 had a revised rocker cover where the filler cap sits proud of the cover.

early ones and golfs/rallyes had this with a recessed filler cap and an overflow hole in the front.
