ray_vr6 1 Posted January 16, 2005 Hi following a flooded footwell I removed the front seat, carpets, replaced the felt unerlay and put everything back (after fixing the leak - i hope!) but i now have this bit left over - can't remebber where i removed it from!. it looks like some sort of fixing clip as it is solid ie does not have an aperture. anyone recognize it please? Supercharged 2 Posted January 16, 2005 I think that is some sort of pedal cover, it fits low down between the brake and clutch pedals (I think!)
Andy Brookes 0 Posted January 16, 2005 holds up the under dash shelf, not sure which side
Jim 2 Posted January 16, 2005 I remeber that part from when I had flooded footwell shenanigans on my last Corrado. I'm almost certain that goes on the same side as the fuse box, possibly just underneath it as some kind of support?
Phil K 0 Posted January 16, 2005 this part comes from just above the peddles... found mine when it dropped down and caused the accelerator to jam open - not fun when you're going round a roundabout gaining speed all the time  I decided not to put it back to prevent this from happening again in the future... Storm 0 Posted January 16, 2005 It is the rear support for the smaller parcel tray that covers the fuses. The left hand side of it. There is a bracket that welded onto the bulkhead for it. stick a torch up there and you will see it. Stick it back on with a bit of glue and it shouldnt fall off again. :-P
