dinkus 10 Posted January 20, 2005 Moving to suppliers forum. I think they do give a discount, but it depends on how nice you ask :D
Supercharged 2 Posted January 20, 2005 Nah, I don't think they do either - then again why should they?? - they have a superb reputation, they always have work to do without having to advertise and they only charge £40 an hour - most local garages now charge £50! Johnboy98 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Pooh worth a try, if steelers can offer discounts for clubs and older cars for repairs then why not Stealth?
Henny 0 Posted January 20, 2005 'cos steelers put massive increases on their prices... Stealth don't charge the earth and do a blindingly good job... 8)
Johnboy98 0 Posted January 20, 2005 My local steeler charges 45 quid plus vat per hour normally but gives me and others a 30% discount cos its an older car. Must be working on the principle that if you can roll around confidentley in an older motor and keep her running sweet you aint the average mug who takes it to the Steelers regardless. Ive had plenty of work done by Vince and was just making a point of why no incentives to enthusiasts who fuel and create interest for many other petrol heads who keep the corrado alive and his buisiness healthy? Probably because they don't need to. They're up to their eyeballs in work alll day every day, so why give a discount? :)
Johnboy98 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Yeah best form of advertising is word of mouth ive sent plenty of buisiness his way and TSR's through forums and word of mouth literally making them hundreds of pounds and im sure you guys cant count the amount of times youve recommended them to peeps! Just saying that we are trusted by less knowledgable car owners to recommend mods and where in our experience is best to get em done, basically this forum is a powerfull form of free advertising. So a very little give and take wouldnt go a miss for people who champion their company. But I also see the point of buisiness is buisiness!
