dr_mat 0 Posted January 22, 2005 Most VRs that I've come across are like that. Mine is particularly so when the car has just come off the warm-up cycle in the morning. It gets smoother with a few miles under it's belt so everything's nice and warm, but it never goes away completely. Idle speed on the VR seems to be pretty much as low as they can run it to try and save petrol (and emissions!), it's pretty close to stalling..
mariovr6 0 Posted January 22, 2005 no i didnt mean the idle goes down even though it does i ment the noise takes a drop like it missed a beat so it will run in whatever way then drop for a sec the back again not the revs though just the sound and you a kinda feel it too
Timo. 0 Posted January 22, 2005 mine moves when it (misses a beat) when idling, revs dont visually drop on the rev counter but you can feel it. Its the nature of the beast. Does the noise sort of sound like a woof, woof, swirly kinda noise. (not like a dog obviously) Has it always made this noise or is it something new? Do it go alright, no performance problems?? Timo.
