andycowuk 0 Posted February 6, 2005 [schild=11 fontcolor=000000 shadowcolor=C0C0C0 shieldshadow=1]cheers people [/schild] anyone running 9x16's? could i get away with running the following on standard ride height for now? front 9x16 et 25 rear 9x16 et 15 all with 205/40's. i know the rears will stick out 10mm more than the front, but both should have a nice dish 8) cheers, neil. Hi mate I do get occasional rubbing between the outer wall of the rear tyres and the lip on the inside of the arch. I have 7.5x16 et25 wheels, and 215/40/16 rubber. The suspension is Leda coilovers with 250lb rear springs, which is probably harder than any kit has. I am lowered at the rear by no more than 40mm. I think you will deffinately have problems at the back..... the std suspension might be a bit flappy to keep those wheels under control. HTH
BigTartanJudge 0 Posted February 6, 2005 Hi, I used to have 9 x 16" ET15 Borbet B's all round on my rado with 205 40 R16 tyres all round. I was running full Koni adjustable suspension with lowered springs and I had rolled arches. I woul get rubbing quite a lot so I would recommend you get arches rolled and possibly extended professionally and defo. get coilovers as well. Should be ok with this, Cheers, BigEastSideVWG60
Riley 0 Posted February 6, 2005 thanks for the input guys, appreciated :D andycowuk ,your suspension must a cost a small fortune  so no problems with the fronts then? in either 7.5 or 9x16... are there not many 9x16's in offsets more like 35 then? i know its only maybe 20mm difference but could help a lot! neil.
