blow off sound out of the engine bay???

Hello all i am a Newbie but just to this forum..... For some reason when i am driving it revs up when i got to shift gears it sounds like a blow off valve but i have no blow off valve any suggesions of what this could be???

Someone has probaly done the boost return mod which gives the sound of a bov

have you got a black pipe that comes from the bottom of the throttle bodie into the side of the charger if you haven't then you have the boost return mod and that is what it sounds like.

my g60 with all the pipes still there does make a noise when changing gear. i think you can hear the boost being returned

ok good so it is nothing bad and i am not losing boost sounds good to me thanx for the help guys :multi:

if you have eurosport intercooler pipes it also gives that woosh sound, you could also have a pulley that is causing the stock computer controlled BOV to come into effect, kinda squeeks.
