Lee Rees 10 Posted April 13, 2012 Guys, I've brought some decent oil and some click 50 to put in my rado, the problem is I cannot get an oil filter in time for my long journey tommorow. Is it still beneficial for me to go ahead and do the oil change? I was just going to simply drain from the bottom of the sump and replace. Not even going to touch the oil filter at all, or try and drain it.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 13, 2012 I would strongly recommend you Google Slick 50 before putting it anywhere near your engine. It won't hurt to do just the oil now and the filter later. In fact, some OEMs do that as well.
