billinjah 0 Posted February 27, 2005 fitted a boost return removal kit and ive noticed in the cold snowy weather there is a bit of mayo in the pipe from the cam cover there is no pipe connected to this by the way it just vents straight to air naughty i know but im waiting for a catch tank from g-werks. anything to worry about? it is literally a very tiny amount and there is none under the cam cover or in warmer weather car uses no water at all put my mind at rest guys! dinkus 10 Posted February 27, 2005 Well the 'mayo' is water emulsion caused when water mixes with the hot oil. So if it's cold and damp you are probably just getting the hot oil vapour mixing with the damp air and causing mayo. If you've got it on the inside of the oil filler cap after a nice run and/or on the dipstick then you should worry. Otherwise chill :)
