VR6 South 0 Posted March 8, 2005 I know it's not a Corrado but I need advice. After investing in a Scorpion backbox for my Polo GTI, I made the mistake of bunging a local Kwik Fit Chimp with a tenner to fit it. To cut a long story short he has taken too much off the original centre section meaning that the centre section and the new backbox are jammed tight against the mountings and making alsorts of noises. It looks like a new centre section is needed at £180!!! :( Does anyone have any ideas if there is a means of extending the offending short centre section? quicksilver 0 Posted March 8, 2005 You can get extension pieces for most normal exhaust diameters but I've had mixed results using them and to be honest its a bit of a bodge really but if it works at least it saves you a few quid.
