VR6 injectors on a G60?

Recommended Posts

021906031 is the part number I came up with, are these actually 30# injectors and can I use them on my G60, or do I have to buy racing injectors?

Summitracing do 8 30lb injectors for 220 dollars. They are listed as Ford Motorsport, made by Bosch.

Are they a straight swap on a G60 engine?

yup... they're what are known as "red tops" over here... You'll need an appropriate chip to run the engine with 'em though... ;)

Speak to SNS over there... They'll almost certainly have an "off the shelf" chip to suit the mods you've done which will improve matters somewhat significantly! 8)

nope... 16V injectors are mechanical, not electronic... You need to modify the inlet manifold and replace the injection system to run 'em on a valver... :|

Would these 30 injectors be a straight swap in the 16V?

You could probably screw the inserts from a digifant 8V into the manifold and they would fit then.

Next you would need to invent a fuel rail and install an ECU capable of running them.

No small task really.
