heyzy 0 Posted March 17, 2005 Currently riding on 205/40/17 on my Corrado VR6.Just wondering if anyone is running on 215/45/17.Just want to improve the ride quality over potholes etc.Do they effect the gearing or speedo readings too much?
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted March 17, 2005 215/45s will definitely affect the gearing and speedo....and they might rub. I used 215/40/17s for a while and they certainly had more give in them than 205/40s over bumps, and didn't affect the speedo by much at all...according to GPS. _leon_ 0 Posted October 10, 2006 deciding whether to go for 215/40/17 or 205/40/17. I want a squarish profile on the tyre and increased comfort if possible on the 17". Rainsports are going on so that will also help. So prois and cons of 215/40/17 over 205/40/17??
Taggart 0 Posted October 10, 2006 I got slight rubbing, with standard suspension, one 215/40/17 on an 8j ET35 rim.
