Leon Cupra R Engine

Will one of these fit into a C (with the use of a crowbar) and what bits other than the engine would i need. My m8 just had his written off and he may but it back off the insurance company.

Do it woody! Popped round to see James Renshaw last night, had a look at his project. If I had the chance of a complete cupra i'd do the same as james is doing....ie transfer everything electrical and dash etc to go with the new engine. Its going to be very neat.

sounds a great idea! i take it you've seen the march edition of performance vw, it had a article on DIY 1.8t conversion. the one in the mag was a golf - perfect sleeper car :shock:

no its a 1.8 mate

ive never heard as many people say so many good things about the 20vt engine in one thread before,it normaly gets a slaging for having no character :? and yes do it mate you wont regret it. :D
