Corrado Carl 0 Posted April 8, 2005 Hi guys, Can any of you help with this query? I took my Corrado VR6 to my usual mechanic to get some bits done and also to get the cambelt changed, because I couldn't see that it had been done in the history and she's now hitting 74k). My mechanic said that there is no cambelt on the car, it has a chain/pulley instead. But when I was at a VW garage a while ago I'm sure I saw cambelt change around £370. Can anyone help? And at what mileage do I need to change the cambelt/pulley/chain? Cheers.

Corrado Carl 0 Posted April 8, 2005 Yeah, just had a look, thanks. £370 doesn't sound that bad after all. I can tinker a little under the bonnet but living in a flat with the car on the road think I'll leave have to swallow the £370 and give it to the so called experts. Cheers for all your replies.
