RACK 0 Posted July 4, 2003 Morning peeps! I'm in a pickle. I'm in the process of getting my G60 engine re-built. Getting the top end sorted was the easy part, full recon polished and ported and a kent cam, with all new valve guide and liters for $620 (i know it says dollars but my computer doesn't want to put a pound sign  ). The problem is trying to find a good set of pistons and all the rest of the stuff to make a good strong bottom end? Anyone got any ideas?? I got the charger rebuilt and gas flowed last year so touch wood that's fine. It's running 68mm pulley and chip, full SS exhaust, Jetex induction kit, and a check valve. Cheers people! sc16v 0 Posted July 4, 2003 Rack- why not try getting some KS pistons, TSR do them and i think stealth and C&R would also do similar or the same products. Have you looked at your oil cooler side of things yet, as serious mods like this really need some serious oil cooler mods as well. :D
RACK 0 Posted July 7, 2003 Cheers mate I'll give them a ring. I've got an oil cooler laying on my bedroom floor, which will be going on as soon as!
