craigbeal 0 Posted April 29, 2005 Does anyone know if my Tesco car insurance will cover just the windscreen or will it also cover the rubber around it as its leaking as the bond seems to have gone in the corner...?
Henny 0 Posted April 29, 2005 craigbeal, phone 'em and ask.... they're the only ones who can tell you... Normally Fully Comp insurance will include windscreen cover, but some companies still try and charge extra for it...

paddyg 0 Posted April 29, 2005 I was just on the Tesco Ireland site there getting a quote and i read that they cover up to 560 Euro for windscreen cover and this included "any scratches caused by breaking glass" but didnt see anything about the rubber strip. If they dont then who's to stop you breaking it yourself and saying it was a stone???
Henny 0 Posted April 29, 2005 paddyg, automatic center punches do a fantastic impersonation of a high speed stone when applied to a windscreen... ;)
