WONGA 0 Posted May 19, 2005 While my rado was left running for about 10 mins to charge the battery a bit I noticed the temp light flashing and the temp gauge was about 120.Does this mean my fan isnt working if so how and where do I test it? cheers steve
Walesy 0 Posted May 19, 2005 120 is waayyy to high...dont let it get that high again!...... the best way to check if the fan is working is to let the car warm up ......if it gets to 110 and the fan hasnt started then turn the engine off. (( the fan is at the front of your engine bay.)) if it doesnt come on i would try the thermo switch for the fan (( this tells the fan when to start/stop )) hope that helps... Supercharged 2 Posted May 19, 2005 You can bridge the wiring to the thermoswitch to test the fan works...
