16VG60 1 Posted June 11, 2005 It is with great sadnes that for the first time ever in some 25 years of dealing with VW enthusiasts, that i have had a fellow enthusiast and Corrado owner stop a cheque in respect to a part sold by me in good faith. The only conclusion of this persons actions is that this was their intention from the start. Stopping a cheque is a calculated course of action as opposed to insufficient funds. The part was a brand new Reiger 2 slat grille and eyebrow sold for £60 at Stonor Park meet last weekend. Clearly Mr E. BAXHAKU wished only to pay his bank for the stoppage fee, making for him a real good bargain! If you are the perpetrator of this deed and reading this thread i hope you enjoy the fruits of your dishonesty and revel in the breaking of an unwritten code of conduct amongst enthusiasts. I am not grieving the loss of £60, but moreover the errosion of a trust enjoyed for many years. A sad day indeed.
