TREVR6 0 Posted June 18, 2005 Once again my VW Pierburg vsr is causing me grief. The shaft that holds the vacume opperated flap in place has worn thin and snapped. Anyone got any idea if the actuation units are available fron anywhere or if I'm gonna have to try and fabricate a new shaft. Been in to VW dealers today and they weren't too much help although i've got to go back on monday and speak to Dave....."are you Dave!" No part numbers to be seen on the unit. Please someone help. Can I get one and if so where from. Or by some mirricle has someone got a shed full of them :D The vacume unit is still ok, it's just the shaft that the flap bolts to that's jiggerd!
