DougJ182 0 Posted July 5, 2005 Hey all.. I need to replace the HAL sensor on my 2.0 16v, now I can do this myself, (I consider myself to be a fairly competent mechanic) but.. after failing to find a Haynes manual for the rado I reverted to my Scirocco manual, in there it showes there's a kinda sir clip round the base of the rotoe arm connecting rod, thing is I can't see anything like that on my rado... any one done this here and have some advice?? please, It's coughing and spluttering and driving me MMMMMMMMMMMMMAD!!!

Supercharged 2 Posted July 6, 2005 Yeah, I think you just replace the dizzy with an exchange unit in most cases but you must be able to replace the bits seperatly as they rebuild them... Maybe worth taking the dizzy itself down to your local Bosch agent...
