bighands 0 Posted July 7, 2005 It broke last friday, and been away so finaly get round to ordering a new one today, to find no where sells it, apart from dealers, but when he was looking it up, he comes up with 'oh its a discontinued part . . ' was like thats not a lot of good to me, as i kinda need to see how fast im going mate . . So he taps few more buttons and asks how long it is (THE OLD SPEEDO CABLE GIRLS) ;-) so ripped old one out, and measured it, and it was 100cm ish, said he could see one that was similar but was 130cm's long, and there was only 2 left in the country!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!! Something isnt right i think, surely this is gunna be a fairly common part to start going wrong, and if theres only one cable left in the country now, one of u lads with a 1.8 16v wants to go and buy the last remaining one in the uk and flog it for few hundered later on!! in fact sod it, i will!
