Mike Edwards 0 Posted July 11, 2005 New rear shocks required on account of the Koni t/a's leaking... Customer in the garage asked if I'd accept £5k for the car as is. Wonder if I could fund a 24v-engined project for that...
Jim 2 Posted July 11, 2005 Aren't the Koni's covered under warranty?

Jim 2 Posted July 11, 2005 I thought Koni's had a lifetime warranty provided you were the original owner / purchaser?

Neil VR6 0 Posted July 12, 2005 Hold up! I bought my car off a guy who had these fitted and the handling was very off! I sent them to the UK Koni dealer (Camberley Auto Factors) and had them sent off and they've been bench tested. All I needed was the original Demon Tweeks receipt from 2001! The guy you need to speak to is Trevor Leigh. Here are the vitals: Camberley Auto Factors Unit 1, Hawley Trading Estate, Hawley Lane, FARNBOROUGH Hampshire. Post Code: GU14 8EH Telephone No: 01252 517272 Fax Number: 01252 522470 They found that one of the fronts was faulty. They should be sorting it any day now. Neil VR6 0 Posted July 13, 2005 ***UPDATE*** He's gone on holiday and hasn't chased up my shocks at all. He was at some Max Power event last week as well.
Baz2004 0 Posted July 13, 2005 You could be waiting a while getting the new inserts, I have the same trouble with my H&Rs. Im keeping an eye out on ebay.de at the moment for a set of H&R front struts as its taking months to get the new inserts. I have seen a number of used coilover sets going V cheap Im half tempted to buy a set of KWs/FKs and use my own springs it would get me back on the road for the short term at least.
