Aus 0 Posted July 22, 2005 Hi ... where's the blue temp sensor on a VR6 (and in dead easy to understand instructions as I'm a half wit!) ta
Roger Blassberg 0 Posted July 22, 2005 Follow the radiator top hose down to the thermostat housing on the front of the engine. There you will find the three sensors, or possibly two and a blanking plug. Best wishes RB
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 22, 2005 There's three.....Yellow, Blue, Black... in that order starting at the left. According to various sources of info, they are or should be/could be:- Yellow - Dash guage and after-run cooling circuit Blue - ECU fuel trimming Black - 120 degree fan speed 3 trigger, or Air-con temp if fitted. You need to lift off the cover first and carefully without snapping the lugs off. I'd check the physical wiring and the connections for the blue plug as there have been cases where the electrical connection was iffy, causing over fuelling when hot and consequently poor running, stalling and lack of urge.
