peanut 0 Posted July 24, 2005 afternoon all, first newbie question. Thanks to impending divorce im having to sell my s2 avant :( . as a slightly more affordable alternative ive just bought an L-reg corrado vr6. Someone once told me the vr came with twin pot girling g60's as standard, is this true? if so it means i can swap the big brake kit i fitted on the s2 across onto the raddo, fingers crossed :? i know ill need to source different bells, but thats not a problem. Also what et is the vr? Cheers in advance Gav
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 24, 2005 VR ET is 43. They didn't have twin pots, single pot sliding Lucas calipers I'm afraid. Your best bet is to fit the 288 ATE setup from late MK3 VR and MK4 GTI. They'll fit under the 15" wheels and if you want to upgrade later on, you can change the carriers and discs to the TT 312mm setup. You'll need 16" wheels tho.
