I ask cause Liam from pitstop has been trying to source me a 65m for ages and how now got some steel ones. Is there any diff, apart from the obvious weight loss with alloy? Cheers. W3RKD 0 Posted July 24, 2003 gofor the steel one mate but when you put it on make sure you put some copper slip om the shaft to stop it corroding on.... they are better than the ally ones for quite a few reasons one of them is that the ally ones wear and the grooves on the pulley can sharpen and end up damaging the belt..
