Rolling Road in Norfolk Area

Has anybody here had dealings with Clive Atthowe's? Thinking of taking my car there for a tune up etc - but would like to know if anyone has had dealings with them. What they are like, do they know stuff - that kinda thing.

I've just seen this post while hunting for your username following today's crossing of paths.

 

I've been to Clive Atthowe's in the past a few times for various reasons. I'll say this: he's clearly an enthusiast of performance cars and he's got some tasty motors around the place. However, despite advertising as a Bosch specialist he couldn't tell me a lot about the 9A injection system when I had a fault with a friend's car.

 

With regard to rolling road tuning there I can't really comment. I've had a car on the rollers there but it was more for a baseline figure than for a tune. They seem competent enough but the whole 9A incident has knocked my confidence slightly. I'm not sure what other options there are in the area.

Oh, and there was me thinking someone howled the Karmann meet (in Osnabrück beginning of September) drinking chant: Timääääh!!!!

Yeh I've had quite a lot to do with the guy, my car's bin on his rollers four times and my car's very healthy, he's a funny guy cos when you first meet him he seems a bit unsociable but after the cars tuned he's like really enthusiastic about it, talks you through everything give advice etc 8) When he looked at my injection system albeit an old one he was spot on, he had all the equipment to check for pressure drops in the system etc so yeh I'd take my car back there 8)

i put my car on the rollers at SCA but i wouldnt let them touch it. always do the work myself and/or get g werks to tinker!!
