AdamB 0 Posted August 2, 2005 The starter motor on my VR6 broke, and after bump starting it, I drove it to a local garage to have it replaced. Unfortunatly the bloke disconnected the battery and now it turns over but wont fire up. He says he has checked the fuel pump and there is no power to it, but the fuses seem to be ok. It isn't the immoboliser as it wouldn't turn over if this was at fault. The garage is a bit at a loss and doesnt really know where to go from here. Has anyone got any ideas as to what it could be? RW1 0 Posted August 2, 2005 Got an alarm fitted? It may be isolating the fuel pump circuit. What's the set-up following a battery disconnect? Some do need to be sequenced and depends on the alarm manufacturer.
