removing/ refitting g 60 supercharger?? i done it !!!!

Recommended Posts

i have done a search but found nothing relevant

i need to get my charger off to g-werks but i live in spain and trust no local garages (if you live here you probally no why!)

is there any step by step instructions anywhere?

and can a non mechanical person like myself do this at home

from what i can tell the difficulty is the tensioner spring?

any advise appreciated??

Tensioner spring is the easy bit, the hard bit is getting it out with taking the rear mount off the engine(on the front of the block), supposedly it will come out with the pulley off, without taking the mount off, mine didnt seem to wanna tho, and the mount was a bit of a bastard to get off!

There is NO need to remove that rear mount. you only need to remove the pulley is std size and you dont need to remove the alternator either.
