carpoid 0 Posted August 15, 2005 Just went to pick my C up after 2 weeks of it sitting in someones garage, went to start it, battery sounded dead, turned ignition off, alarm went beserk, couldn't stop it, dis-connected battery. Although the alarm isn't armed every time i try and start it it goes off ?? Its a (original i think) Foxguard. Should i have a master key ?? Anyone know WTF it might be ?? !! carpoid 0 Posted August 15, 2005 Is it just because the battery is dead that the alarm has gone mad ??
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 15, 2005 Get some charge in the battery and it should stabilise. Sounds like the siren's inbuilt batteries are running it cause it thinks the battery's been cut.
The Leningrad Cowboy 0 Posted August 15, 2005 I think that once mine is disconnected and reconnected, you need to pop a code into the little toggle switch thing to convince it you are the real owner.
