17s with ofset of 38 will they fit raddo g60 ok

may buy some alloys 17s wolfrace with offset of 38 will they fit a raddo g60 ok will i need spacers ect the seller is andyg60and seems a good deal also were is best place to get tyres from 205 40 17s chears

depends on how much you have lowerd the suspension ? they will fit fine but if lower'd you might need a small spacer to stop rubbing on the strut on the back unless you have coilovers

yes fits fine. needs a 5-10mm spacer on rear with coilovers

 

I've just had 18's et37/38 fitted and running coilovers and from what the bodyshop have said they won't catch

mine did.

 

the spring mount caught into the side of the wheel/tyre.

if yours are clear thats good but mine weren't.

what width have you fitted ? also you must have removed the s**t shields on the fronts havent you ??? :lol:

i think if you have 7j wheels and an offset of around 35 ish you are not going to get rubbing probs it only when you go wider or a lot lower offset when the rubbing occurs....

Cramer, spot on.

The higher the ET figure the more they dish in and the lower, the more they stick out which may be better but can catch the arch lip if too low or soft suspension.

thanks guys have bought wheels they are 7j 17 whith ofset of 37 and do not rub or catch anywere and suspention is standard.came with 2 5mm spacers for front if lowering so they dont catch ineer arches . tyers are 205/40/17and look very nice.will need 2 tyers soon does anyone know were to get good deals on new tyers.cheers all and thaks for all your replies

Got some Fox FP2's 7j X 17" (ET37) on my G60 (lowered) and they rub on the front chassis legs with steering in full lock !!!!.... :x

 

205/40WR17 Goodyear Eagle F1's - both front tyres now f*****

My vr6 uses 38 offset as std i believe but i am using a 35mm offset with a 7J 205/40/17 and no probs!
