Stan 24v 0 Posted August 30, 2005 As thge title says. After driving I cant find 1st, unless putting it into 2nd first (even then its f*cking hard!!), its the same for reverse. Its also hard to select the gear from standing, although once done, its easy to go from second to first etc etc. Ive checked the cables, they seem dine. Ive greased the linkages at the gearbox, but to no avail, and Ive checked the circlip on the stick - Its there!! What else can I do? Is it feasible to remove the linkages and clean them all up? Henny 0 Posted August 30, 2005 To me it sounds like the cable/linkage has slipped slightly and so isn't moving over towards the 1st/reverse side of the mechanism properly, you need it setting up again...
