sciroccotune 0 Posted October 6, 2005 Hi guys, One of mine (the passenger side) is all but about to give up. I noticed excessive roll on the way back from uni today when putting weight on that side so i need to change them. Which ones should I use? I have looked through the vr6 topmount threads but have to admit I am still clueless. is this what i need from gsf? 45737K STRUT TOP MOUNTING KIT CO VR6 8/91 > 11.00 Add or should i just stick to normal 4cyl ones that gsf do. Supercharged 2 Posted October 7, 2005 I'd get the parts from VAG only, also best to buy a pair not just the one... the VR mounts - i'm hopefully fitting these on mine next week but there seems to be varying opinions as to if they fit or not - I think you can only fit to coilovers too so if you have not got these then get the 4 cyl ones... marc c 0 Posted October 7, 2005 Ive fitted vr6 suspension to my 16v using the early type top mounts so there shouldnt be a problem using later top mounts on a early car . You need to use a pre 95 top spring plate which i dont have a part no for and 2 of each of the following 357412331a mounting 1ho412365a bush 1jo412249 bearing With the spring plates it should cost you about £50 from the stealers Hope this helps Marc Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
