CIPO 0 Posted October 9, 2005 What's the cheapest fix for this? Do i just need to get a new motor, and if so where is the cheapest place to get it. Cheers..........
Jim 2 Posted October 9, 2005 German Swedish French car parts.. it costs about £57+VAT for a new one (bit of a stinger) and its a 25 minute job to replace. You can look in a scrappy for a 2nd hand one out of a MK2 Golf as its the same part, but chances are that'll just go eventually.. get a brand new one, and know its one of those things you'll never have to do again! :)
Supercharged 2 Posted October 10, 2005 Yep, a german dude was selling new ones at Inters for £35 but no contact details i'm afraid... Also - if you get a mk2 one you will need to swap the resister pack over as its 4 speed as opposed to
