mistrall 0 Posted October 11, 2005 morning lads - have a few probs at thr mo but this one is weerd , the water light flasshes at startup after a few seconds and doesnt go off but sometimes it doesnt flash ... i looked in the header tank and its full of the good stuff and seems to be moving due to the dripping in the tank - any ideas? thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
woody 0 Posted October 11, 2005 The sensor in the header tank has gone faulty i beleive, I have had this happen to me. Check the wiring to it althrough it means a new header tank from VW. + point though it will be easier to chack the level with a new header tank I found that if I drove the car for a bit and then turned off , then started it up again it would be fine.
