H8RRA 0 Posted October 11, 2005 I've failed MOT emissions -high CO - suspect the lambda probe but are there different types? The one fitted has quite a large oval connector where it plugs into the loom above the rear mount - the other one I have has a smaller slimmer rectangular connector. Are they intercnageable? ( I realise i'll have to switch the end connector but the wiring's identical) ...and strangely enough - the first emissions run, i forgot to fit the CAT back - it failed CO @ 0.6 but passed lambda and the other reading. put the CAT back on and now it fails everything and the CO is higher!!!!!! Have I managed to damage the lambda probe? whats going on with the cat when i get a better reading without it?????
