Phil K 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Removed duplicate thread... your post would be a lot easier to read if you used some full stops rather than the word 'and' or 'but' at the end of every sentence ;)
gradeAfailure 0 Posted November 8, 2005 I have a 94 corrado and the wiring for the obd 2 port is not connected. There is the obd 2 port, and the 2 connectors are there, and then there is a lead with a 2 pin connector going to a black block and a few more plugins there, but no other wires. So, I can disconnect the obd port and it's not wired to anything else in the car. The bentley manual does not specify where this plugs in on the fuse panel or whatnot, or wire colors. Can anyone help, please? I got the vagcom wires today and can't use them. Better, Phil? ;)

Kevin Bacon 5 Posted November 8, 2005 There should be a thin grey wire with a brown plug connected to the black block which goes off up to the ECU. That's your comms wire. If it's not connected or cut, someone's been in there (probably alarm fitters) and done something.
