C. Will Corrado G60 2 0 Posted November 11, 2005 Hi, Today I've mostly been changing the rocker gasket. This is what it looks like with the rocker off, does everything look ok? Plus can anyone tell me whether it's ok to clean the rocker cover in and out plus what is the black plastic thing on top of the rocker? Can I run water through it? Henny 0 Posted November 11, 2005 Looks good to me too... no excessive wear to the cam lobes visible and it's all nice and clean with no sludge in there... 8) The plastic bit on the right of the rocker cover (as you look from the front of the car) which has a pipe going to the boost return pipe is the oil breather pipe... you're safe to clean this through as long as you make sure it's clear of any washing up liquid and is dry before re-fitting it... on early cars this is a round unit with one screw holding it onto the rocker cover, on later ones it's a square block with 2 screws... 8) Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
