KipVR 1 Posted November 21, 2005 Can anyone advise me what to do in this situation:- The cental locking seems to have packed up on my passenger side door. I can see the door pin rising but then it sinks down again and it won't let me pull it back up to release the lock (I havent tried excessive force)! andy 0 Posted November 21, 2005 I would have thought that taking the multiplug out of the central locking unit in the boot (rhs behind the panel) might disable the central locking to a point. KipVR 1 Posted November 21, 2005 Ahh, having looked at others on this website I discovered it was the door lock mechanism stuck half way, seems to be quite common! 1 tent peg stuck down in between the seals with the window down did the trick!!
