does any one know the reason why it has all stopped working ? it was fine today just on my way backfrom havin a chat with the dubsport boys about a service when the damn thing stalled , since then when i switch the car off all the screens in the speedo part go off too then when i swich it back on everything is reset .

sorry guys a 1.8 16v . the lcd clocks on the dash, don,t know its specific name but you can toggle through the settings using the wiper lever . everytime i stat the car everything has reset . sorry for being so dim this is my first car only passed test a couple of months ago . so basically i haven't got a clue . ta

To the right of your steering wheel under the dashboard will be undertrays, the furthest to the right is the fuse box cover, take it off and you'l see the all the fuses, on the back of the fuse box cover will be a list of what fuse is for what , find the one that covers the things that aren't working (( MFA is the info LCD )) and change it. :D...hopefully that'l sort it, could also be worth checking all the wires are conected properly around the battery.

 

I assume the car is starting properly?

'Ang on - I mentioned bad earth on the basis he said it stalled. Did the car stall or does he mean the MFA stalled?

it was the fuses . i am a stupid *^%# . i would have still been sat there scratchin my head or have paid someone to do it if it wasn,t for you lot
