Roof Trim Moldings...........

Has anyone replaced their roof trim moldings?

i had an idot paint man threw my old ones away. :mad:

i got a set off a wrecked C that were in good shape.

is there anything special that needs to be done to them for install?

not sure if they need tape or not.

im sure they just slot in. I dont know how good they will be by being taken off then re applied.

there is some double sided tape that goes on you can still get it from vw. or just use some double sided trim tape :D

And, the ends are held down with plastic trim clips. The front one is fixed to the strip and clips to the roof, the rear one is a separate item that clips onto both the strip and the roof. Sometimes damaged when removed so u might want to check 'em over b4 fitting them.
