How To: Illuminated late style heater controls

sorry to dig up an old thread but i am fed up with the heater illuminations sorry lack of heater illumination ,does anyone have a picture of this el wire fitted and finished in a complete dash ,

and also does it still light up the knobs themselves

hello, I recently did the heater EL illumination job. Can anyone else "hear" the noise it generates? It is like some kind of "piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" which drives me crazy :cuckoo: :nuts: :nuts: :nuts:

On mine, I wrapped the invertor in a piece of neoprene - acts as soundproofing.

think i might have to give this a go now that my DDI dials are on there way! might try with just white tho. hmmm
