cvw 0 Posted January 27, 2006 what the difference is between aclutch for a 1.8 16v quoted £120 plus vat and a clutch kit quoted at £60 plus vat . the first one was from a vw dealers and the other was from a mate whoworks in the industry. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Kevin Bacon 5 Posted January 27, 2006 VAG kits are superior to aftermarket ones, even if made by the same people (i.e. Sachs and LUK). You need to see the two side by side to see what I mean.
