Pickard1 0 Posted January 29, 2006 Hello everyone, My Oil Pressure light has just flashed a couple of times on a long journey. Both times I was doing about 80ish and had just lifted off the throttle to slow for junctions when the beeper and light flashed for 4 or 5 seconds. Pretty much as soon as it started it stopped again, Oil temp was about 116. Im running Synta Silver which was replaced a month ago along with the filter. The level is to the top of the hatched area on the dipstick and hasnt dropped in a month....which is unusual in itself. I am presuming there isnt an actual Oil pressure problem as I continued for another 60 miles and the Charger hasnt blown up :lol: has anyone else had any similar symptoms...as i said it seemed to only happen for short periods when lifting off the throttle when the engine had been under load for several miles constantly.
