Azz turbo 0 Posted February 20, 2006 Has any one had a turbo conversion done to a VR6 before or does anyone know where i can get it done. To be honest its the price i am most intrested in. I have asked stealth racing and they said it would cost £15000. Must be able to get it done somewhere else cheaper but just as good. Please can anyone help. Cheers All
Madjackal 0 Posted February 20, 2006 please tell me you mean £1500 not £15000!!! you could give kevhaywire's supercharger mod a go! might work out a bit cheaper but the remap is the real arse!
martyjmcfly 0 Posted February 21, 2006 Give 'The Phirm' a call - they are just starting to do an EIP kit for the VR6 specifically. Check out EIP's web page and look in envy at the video clips Stage 1 300 Bhp Stage 2 350 Bhp Stage 3 450 Bhp I'd go for stage 1 - bolt on kit, fitting time 10 hours and its a low pressure running at 5-6psi so no major engine work required, just a THICKER gasket to lower the compression. I believe costs including VAT £4000. The Phirms quality of work is top notch i can vouch.
Roger Blassberg 0 Posted February 21, 2006 just a thinker gasket Is that a thinner gasket, a thicker gasket or one that is just thinking about it ?? (Sorry, it was too good to miss....) Best wishes RB
