Which donor cars to get 288 brakes from ???

I'm thinking of fitting the 288 brakes to my storm and from reading what seems like hunderds of posts on the subject, I am still none the wiser as to exactly which donor cars to get them off from a scrappy.

 

What I can gather is:

 

Golf Mk3 VR or GTI (Only with rounded indicators)

Some Golf Mk4's ?

Audi ?

Seat ?

 

I'm looking at getting them this weekend so any speedy responses would be appreciated...

Seat Leon - not sure if they're only on specific models though.

1997 Golf 3 GTi 16v, VR6 ...;)

All Mk4s have 288s apart from the posh ones that have 312s.

 

I think only the very weedy, early TTs had 288s - the rest all had 312s.

 

I have a feeling that the A3s have 288s.
